Sergeant records didn’t begin with a mission statement. It started with a Marine, a guitar, and a belief that music could reach people in ways ordinary conversations sometimes can’t.
What began as a vision to make music and support other artists, became something deeper.
After performance, people stayed and talked. They shared things that they’d carried for years. Veterans saw their own stories in the lyrics. Families found hope. Conversations continued long after the last song ended.
That’s when we realized something we never expected.
The music was never the destination, it was always the invitation.

Today Sergeant Records exists to create places where music opens the door, conversation build connections, and hope reminds people they don’t have to walk alone.
IT DIDN’T BEGIN WITH A MISSION STATEMENT.
It began with a Marine.
As a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps., Scotti Fraser believed leadership meant more than giving directions, it meant looks after the people beside you during service and long after returning home. That commitment never ended when his military service did. It simply found a new way to reach people.

WHY SERGEANT RECORDS?
The name carries two parts of the story.
SERGEANT represents service, responsibility, and t he belief that no one should face life’s battles alone.
RECORDS began as a dream of creating a record label that could help independent artists share their music. While that vision changed over time, one thing never did: the belief that music has the power to reach people in ways ordinary conversation sometime can’t.

THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED.
At first the goal was simple: write songs, play music, support artists. But something unexpected kept happening.
After performances, people stayed.
They shared stories.
They talked about struggles they’d never spoken aloud.
Veterans recognized their own experiences in the lyrics.
Families found hope.
Friendships were formed.
Conversations continued long after the last song ended.
That’s when everything became clear.
The mission hadn’t changed.
The people revealed what it had always been.
